Discussion
Two posters which you feel have the greatest impact.
“Have you enlisted In the Army “and “Motherland is Calling” are known to be legendary Soviet posters but both of them have different graphic that seek to send different messages to probably different audiences. The difference between posters is that the one designed by Dmitry Moor is used to persuade Russian worker to contribute to the defense of the October Revolution while other created by Irakli Toidze is used to display a tragic situation that occurred during the first period of war.
The illustrations use in each poster has the use of colours red, black and white. Red is known to symbolize high energy, aggression, and warning or danger signs. Sometimes it is also use to stand out against backgrounds such as white or black or seems to have a huge impact on people where it causes the heart to beat faster.
How printed posters are still relevant in our era of digital communication.
Printer posters are still relevant in our era of digital communication because this type of graphic literature combines images or pictures and words to send a message to an audience. These posters try to persuade or convince their audience to do or purchase something. Posters are seen everywhere in this era on school notice boards, bulletin boards, advertising the newest movies or the latest fashion trends.
People who design posters work a lot harder to make their posters stand out and be noticed. Their objective is to concentrate on the four main techniques or element which makes you stop and look at their posters. Each of these parts is equally important to a poster designer or graphic designer and these four main elements that are used to get your attention are:
Ø Design
Ø Message
Ø Audience
Ø Purpose
